Self-Protection Course
Like the fire extinguisher by the door, the first aid course you attend and the car seatbelt you wear – our self-protection course is the healthy and responsible way to prepare for an event we hope will not happen.
Our self-protection course will not only arm you with techniques that may save your life but a mindset and strategy that you can confidently implement and/or share with your friends and family.
Small changes to normal habits and routines can have profound effects on our livelihood. We think nothing of locking our car, closing downstairs windows or telling our children to be home before dark.
It is for this reason that we believe in ‘self-protection’ and not ‘self-defence’. Our course is much more than ‘just’ techniques, it will teach you how to go about your day to day livelihood in a safe and confident manner and puts you in control.
The Self-Protection Course will cover:
- Correct mindset to survive a confrontation
- How to spot and avoid situations before they begin
- Escape and de-escalation measures
- Why your voice is your best weapon
- Practical techniques for individuals of all sizes & experience

Practical Techniques will include:
- How to put a fence around your body
- Your bodies natural weapons and how to use them
- How to hit quickly and effectively
- Ways to stop a bigger, stronger attacker
- Escapes to common grips and holds
- Improvised weapons for desperate situations
- Basic blade awareness
Our course is designed to suit individuals of all ages and ability and there is no pre-requisite for any previous martial arts knowledge.
We are confident that every individual will walk away better equipped to defend themselves and can be applied immediately without any further training.
